Shortening is like butter, or lard

60 Brownies…Nana, you’re a greedy minx!
Nice thanks fr the smile!
I loved them!! I just made them…simply delicious!!!
thanks nana!!!
this would go sooooo gud with a hot cup of coffee on a cold winter morning :p
Can you also bake it in a 13 by 9 inch pan?
you can bake it in a 13 by 9 inch pan, but just use only 2/3 of the ingredients and reduce the baking time slightly too……Around 20-25 mins ( depending on your oven)
If I half the recipe, what pan should I put it in?
i guess you can put it in 2 medium size pans.
These are some good brownies Thanks! Do you have a Mac and Cheese recipe
Great brownies! Nana, u rock!!
This was a really nice and easy recipe and very yummy ! I will be making this recipe again ! Thank you Nana
i question 1 thing why only 1 tsp of vinnala isent 1 tsp meant for a small bacth?
1 tsp of vanilla has always worked.. even for this large batch. However, if you feel like you want to add a little more… by all means do so.
can you use oil or butter instead of crisco
I don’t suggest you use anything else except shortening (Crisco). I tried using oil one time and it didn’t work. I have not tried butter.
what is Crisco
thank you so much, this looks easy enough for my fiance to do… he is learning to bake
Yes… this recipe is so easy my grands make it. They are 14 and 16.
Try using at least butter rather than shortening for Christ’s sake. It’s hydrogenated fat. In other words poison…
