French Roast is not for the timid. The hardiest of Latin American coffees withstand our darkest roast – an intensity which would burn less rugged beans. Blunt, smoky flavors are the objective of the roasting process and there’s only a slight, residual acidity. Although it’s a powerful blend, the body is light. Taste French Roast beside Espresso Roast. You may discover and uncover many tastes in the Espresso and the Italian you did not realize were there when tasting them alone. French Roast is about pleasing the palates of those who enjoy the deepest, darkest, smokiest flavor. French Roast is a combination of select Latin American beans. These beans are strong and hearty, standing up to a roast that would cause many lesser coffees to go up in flames. People often assume that darker means fuller body. Not true! People also assume that French Roast has either more or less caffeine due to its roast, which is also untrue. French Roast is great for dark roast die-hards, someone looking for a change, or as an interesting component to a do-it-yourself blend. Brewed to be an all-around great cup of coffee, Pike Place Roast is our newest blend. With a smoother finish and subtle flavors of cocoa and toasted nuts, this coffee can be enjoyed all day. The smoother finish and soft acidity are attributed to a proprietary blend of high-altitude arabica beans. The quality of these beans starts at the farms. We use only approved C.A.F.E. (Coffee and Farmer Equity) Practices suppliers. Whether you take your coffee black or with cream and sugar, regular or iced – it’s the kind of coffee you’ll want to make part of your daily routine.

This sturdy Latin American blend is less complex than Espresso Roast and not as intensely smoky as French Roast. Nonetheless, it’s a potent, bold cup of coffee. Italian Roast is amazing with dark chocolate and any buttery pastry. Fun fact: Italian Roast is the coffee flavor found in Frappuccino® blended beverages containing coffee.
